Projects

We’ve had the pleasure of working on a variety of different projects. For each project we started directly by taking an idea and then designing, developing, and fine-tuning it into a seamless and elegant end product.

Product SleepAssist

SleepAssist

The SleepAssist is an innovative, non-intrusive, sleep apnoea treatment option, made by The Sleep Company. By integrating a printed electronics sensor network and AI-powered algorithm, which analyses users' sleeping position, Vention’s hard- and software enables the SleepAssist to provide stimuli to the user at just the right moment. This significantly a night’s sleep, both in quality and comfort.

Furthermore, using our Wockel development platform, Vention facilitates data gathering during trial testing phases, accelerating AI training and sensor network development.

Goelst G-Motion

With G-Motion, Goelst has developed one of the most versatile curtain rail systems available world-wide. The modular system architecture enables limitless configurations and layouts, ensuring compatibility with nearly all operating input methods imaginable.

As a design partner for the systems' electronics and software, Vention continuously explores new technological opportunities to innovate user interaction, adding features and functionality to improve performance even further.

plasmacure

Plasmacure

The Plasmacure PLASOMA is a medical device designed to heal wounds that are or could become chronic. In the electronic pad a cold plasma is created that kills bacteria and promotes wound healing. We co-developed the plasma pulser to be consistent, efficienct and safe to use, taking into account optimal safety measures and medical certification requirements.

Smart Cue

Cue2Walk has developed an innovative approach to support people with Parkinson's in dealing with the Freeze of Gait symptoms, significantly improving quality of life. The system analyses the users' walking patterns and detects an upcoming FoG. The system responds by sending a Cue (trigger) at just the right moment, which snaps the patients out of the freeze.

Using the Wockel development platform, a fully functioning product demonstrator was up and running within a matter of weeks, which enabled Cue2Walk and Vention to prove both the product potential and technological feasibility. The result: concept validation and field results at a very early stage, accelerating time-to-market by identifying key development areas.

Solutions

We’ve had the pleasure of developing on a variety of different solutions.

Wockel Bluetooth IMU

Wockel

Wockel is a state-of-the-art IP platform and is ready to create your custom product upon. Wockel is the perfect basis for the development of (battery powered) Bluetooth Smart (BLE) sensor and actuator-based products. By bringing together sensors, battery management, microcontroller, and Bluetooth communication in one place and linking it to a customized application, the Wockel enables developers to almost immediately start their product concept validation, ideally suited for demonstrator purposes or trial testing.
Ready to boost your product development cycle to the next level?

Graduation internship possibilities

At Vention, we are always trying to improve ourselves and our internal processes. One of our main objectives is to be able to create a prototype in a day. This objective reflects our commitment to staying on the cutting edge of technology and to continuously pushing the boundaries of what is possible. In order for us to do so, besides working on client projects, our Ventioneers are spending time on internal projects to contribute to this objective. We can definitely use the help of embedded software and hardware graduation interns and we have a good relationship with the Fontys- and Avans Hogeschool. Thomas is always open to get in touch with potential interns that could help us to achieve our goals. Please contact him to learn more about the internal projects and internship possibilities at Vention.
